Dividends
Dividends are paid out of the Company’ net profit on the results of the fiscal year
stated in the Profit and Loss Statement under RAS.
Our dividend policy is formulated in the ‘Regulations on Dividend Policy’
approved by the Board of Directors on February 25, 2004.
Below are the excerpts from the Regulations:
Total amount of dividends on each common share as recommended by the Board
of Directors shall be not less than at the rate of 10 percent of the Company net
profit on the last fiscal year divided by the number of common shares.
Holders of preferred shares are entitled for a fixed dividend paid out annually except for the cases
specified in the current legislation and the Charter. The amount paid out as dividends on each
preferred share shall be at the rate of 10 percent of the Company net profit
on the last fiscal year divided by the number of preferred shares. As the same time,
provided the pay-out per each common share in a given fiscal year exceeds the pay-out on each
preferred share, the pay-our for preferred shares shall be made equal to this paid for common
shares.
Dividend History
*The dividend pay-outs between 1995-1999 are counted in comparable values subject
to nominal cost of Ruble in 1998. All calculations up to 2002 represent
common stock of Uralsvyazinform as Perm region operator.
