The Level 1 ADR program for common shares has been established since July 1997.
Our Level 1 ADR program has existed since July 1997. Bank of New York was then our depository bank. In August 2002 the company changed its depository bank for JP Morgan Chase Bank after signing of the Depository Agreement and nominating JP Morgan Chase Bank as the successor depository.
According to the Depository Agreement between Uralsvyazinform and JP Morgan Chase Bank dated 22/04/2002 in connection with ADR program for common shares of the company, and the respective Depository Agreement in connection with ADRs for preferred shares dated 30/09/2002, each American Depositary Receipt represents 200 common/preferred shares of Uralsvyazinform.

Common shares outstanding as ADRs:
593 363 200, or 1.8% of the total number of common shares outstanding;
Preferred shares outstandingas ADRs:
325 361 200, or 4.2% of the total number of preferred shares.
Generally, about 2.3% of the company’s share capital is traded in the form of ADRs.
