Ekaterinburg – March 19, 2008 – Uralsvyazinform (RTS: URSI/URSIP, ADR: UVYZY/ UVYZYP), the leading carrier of fixed-line and mobile services in the Urals region, Russia reports the preliminary unaudited unconsolidated financial and operational results for the year ended December 31, 2007 under Russian accounting standards (RAS).
Revenue[1] increased by 22.7% on 2006 to amount RUR 39.2 billion
EBITDA[2] increased by 40.6% compared to 2006. EBITDA margin at 33.4%. Operating margin at 22.5%
Pro forma net profit increased by 79.5% and amounted for US$ 138.1 million, delivering net margin of 9.0%
Subscriber base reached 8.8 million, including 5.1 million in GSM
