Ekaterinburg — November 15, 2005 — Uralsvyazinform (RTS: URSI/URSIP, ADR: UVYZY/ UVYZYP), the leading carrier of fixed-line and mobile services in the Urals region, Russia reports the date of placement of its 06 series bond issue worth RUR 2.0 billion.
During its session of November 14, 2004, the Board of Directors determined November 24, 2005 as the placement date of Uralsvyazinform 06 series bond issue with overall volume of 2,000,000,000 (two billion) rubles.
The issue has the following parameters:
Documentary interest-bearing non-convertible bearer bonds of 06 series with mandatory centralized custody, OJSC ‘Uralsvyazinform’
Number of bonds in the issue: 2,000,000 (two million);
Nominal value: 1,000 (one thousand) rubles;
Total volume: 2,000,000,000 (two billion) rubles;
The bond issue is assigned the following state registration numbers: 4-09-00175-A dated November 03, 2005.
The decision of issue was approved by the Board as of September 29, 2005.
The issue will be placed at Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX).
The Board of Directors has decided to provide a buyback offer for the bonds of the issue, which would open on the third working day of the seventh coupon period (November 24, 2008). The second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth coupons are set as equal to the first coupon. The first coupon will be auctioned on the placement date.
The issue documents stipulate for the partial redemption of the bonds made in 20% portions of issue par every half year since 1456th day since the issue placement starting date. Placement method: open subscription.
The raised money will be used to finance the investment program and re-finance previous debt.
