Substantial events causing the change of the Issuer’s net profit by more than 10 per cent as of the fourth quarter 2007: the change of the net profit was significantly affected by increase in ordinary activities expenditures. These expenditures were driven by increase in personnel costs due to contingent liabilities reserve (as a result of personnel optimization) as well as costs in materials, advertising and other expenditures (increased ADSL sales) and increased costs in other operators’ services (access to Internet and traffic increase).
The date of occurrence of the substantial events resulting in a single change of the issuer’s net profit by more than 10 per cent: the fourth quarter, 2007.
Net profit of the Issuer as of the reporting period preceding the reporting period the present substantial event occurred in: net profit of the Company as of the third quarter 2007 totaled RUR 1,156,671,049 (one billion one hundred fifty six million six hundred and seventy one thousand forty nine Russian rubles).
Net profit of the Issuer as of the reporting period the substantial event occurred in: net profit of the Company as of the fourth quarter 2007 totaled RUR 278,131,735 (two hundred seventy eight million one hundred and thirty one thousand seven hundred and thirty five Russian rubles).
The change in the Issuer’s net profit in absolute relation and percentage:
RUR 878,539,314 (minus eight hundred seventy eight million five hundred thirty nine thousand three hundred fourteen Russian rubles) or – 76.0 per cent.
